Pitztal Glacier typically opens around September 26 each year. The opening date can vary by a few weeks based on early-season snowfall — some high-altitude runs open earlier.
The season at Pitztal Glacier usually runs until May 2. Higher glacier areas (if available) may stay open through spring and early summer.
Peak season runs from Christmas through the February school holidays, when slopes are busiest and prices highest. January mid-week and late March are the best value windows — excellent snow with fewer crowds.
