All maintain >97% historical Easter reliability based on full terrain operation. For non-glacier reliability, choose any resort with a base above 2,000 m in the Rockies/Sierra or above 1,800 m in the Alps.
The optimum corn-snow window varies by aspect: south-facing slopes corn up earliest (10am–1pm window), east-facing aspects (11am–2pm), west-facing aspects (12pm–3pm), and north-facing aspects rarely produce true corn snow at lower elevations. The classic spring skiing plan: warm-up on south-facing slopes from 10am, peak-quality skiing 11am–1pm across mixed aspects, transition to higher-elevation north-facing terrain or glaciers from 1pm to escape over-warmed slush. Canada cons: longer transfers from major US/European cities. Europe pros: most glacier infrastructure (7 major Alpine glaciers operate year-round), shortest transfers for European travellers, traditional Easter European Catholic/Orthodox culture. Europe cons: lower-altitude resorts unreliable past mid-April; Easter premiums (28–40%) higher than US (18–35%).
