How we measured
Drive times reflect off-peak Saturday-morning conditions on dry roads, sourced from Google Maps Directions API and cross-checked against published 2024–2025 shuttle operator schedules (Mountain Drop-Offs, Bens Bus, AlpyBus, Alpinbus, Four Seasons Travel, Cortina Express). Saturday changeover traffic in peak season (mid-February, Easter) routinely adds 30–90 minutes to the Geneva–Tarentaise and Chambéry–Tarentaise corridors. Shared-shuttle prices are typical one-way per-adult fares; book return for ~15% discount.
Rail alternatives note the most direct public-transport route. Where a ski-pass-inclusive bus exists (Innsbruck Olympia, Skicircus Saalbach, Davos-Klosters), this is usually the most cost-effective option from airport rail stations.
